For more than half a decade, I have been making wearable art. I am a self-taught mixed metal artist that uses copper, silver, brass, and titanium. In addition, I often incorporate industrial (repurposed gears) and natural elements (gemstones and fossils). My work is architectural and contemporary with an infusion of art deco motifs.
My passion for metal work evolved from making chainmaille. Since I live with a Paleontologist, I am also a fan of fossils and often use them as central theme in my art.
I work under the name Amorphic Metals, which means “without a set form.” I chose this because it gives me the freedom to explore different aesthetics and styles.
I live in Carrollton, Georgia, which is located about 45 miles west of Atlanta.
